A 400-600-pound Bengal Tiger was shot to death yesterday on Wednesday -Feb. 23,2005 by Fish and Game Officers. The Tiger
was loose for 3 weeks in Simi Valley near the Ronald Regan Library. The Tiger which appeared well fed was shot to death yesterday rather than bei9ng tranquilized. The Fish & Games
excuse was that if they tranquilzed it take too long for the to fall
down and might run into traffic or hurt people. I'm deeply saddned about this event and I've lost my Faith in the Fish And Game Dept. Someone from a zoo could of helped them out. My tears of sadness go out to the Death of this Endangered Bengal
Tiger. A Death of one Bengal Tiger is One Death to much.

Everywhere I went today, I heard people talking about this. I hope something good will come of this. Poor Tiger. :(

That Poor Tiger,shot,probably because,those people,were afraid,and dint ,take,the time,and care,to save this Beautiful animal,that was not taken,care of enough,to ensure his safety,RIP Tiger,and there is a spot,for you,in Heaven,which,is more than I can say,for tghe idiots,who were in charge,of your care.And the Trigger Happy Goofs,who ,killed you,to boast,that they got,to kill,a Tiger.

That was the first thing I thought, why not just tranquilize the tiger. I'm sure some Animal Rights people will make a big stink over it and rightfully so!!!

So sad. It wasn't a killer.
