i'm intersted in knowing what toy is your cat's favorite...my 2 cats, Zip and Shy, love there toys, but mostly not store bought...Shy's favorite toy is the plastic ring off of a milk container and Zip just loves string, shoelaces especially...:) :) :)

Lamoni loves anything with strings. We have a toy that I bought at the store. Long plastic rod with a string on the end. At the end of the string there is a cup about the same size round as my pinky finger. Leather fringe comes out of that. Fifi will play with it too. She likes to get the fringe in her mouth and slowly drag that thing all over the house moaning for her lost babies. She will bring it back and want to chase it again.

The Found Cats,love the Cat Dancer,and the AWA Mice,and the long Door Knob Toys,that they can jump,up,and make,a lot of noise,with,in the middle,of the night.

My cats love Q-tips, grocery bags, strings hanging off my shirt (they always find those), and they go crazy on shelled roasted peanuts!! They grab the q-tip with their front paws and throw them around. They kick the peanut around and chase it. I'm guessing they like the rattling sound of the peanut inside the shell.

Junior's pick for toys? anything thats not nailed down.
candy wrappers, qtips, empty toilet paper rolls, pens,combs and brushes, doll clothes that the kids forget to put away..

He has several fishing rod type toys as well that he likes ...and then there are his babies, A stuffed lamb and a stuffed Grimace toy that he drags from room to room.

welcome to pet talk, junior's mom!!!!!!!!!!!....i really like your avatar pic...it is very cool...is my Shy the only one that plays with the plastic rings off of milk containers???...she's crazy about them!!!!!!!!!....:) :) ..lol...(and just like junior, she drags that little plastic ring room to room, and, lol, everymorning, on my recliner chair are 2 little plastic rings???....very funny)

At the moment, Don Juan's favorite toy is a peacock feather that I bought at a pet supply store for $1. He will jump and chase after it until exhausted! :D

His second favorite toys are "tents" made with newspaper. And he has a special liking for a toy chipmunk filled with CATNIP !

My cats just love the mouse inside the circular container. They get it to going around the circle and they love to bat at it. It doesn't go anywhere just stays inside the circle and goes round and round but they have never gotten bored with it.

They will stop playing for a few days but go back to it. The fur on the mouse's back is all worn off now. I've had it since I got my first kitty who is three now.

I've had to get rid of some toys they don't like anymore but they still like to play with this one.

Thanks. My kitties are named Simon, he's a Siamese, and my little 5 lb. tiger striped tabby is named Chianti (Key-yon-tay).

I have pics but don't know how to post them. Sorry.

I wanted to get another Siamese to go with Simon, a female, but my SIL's kitty had a litter and I took a free one from her. A female so they wouldn't fight. I was able to play with all of them so I got the one with the temperment I wanted. With Simon I got him from a breeder and he only had one boy left. He's a good cat but more standoffish. Guess the last ones to be picked usually are. That's way they aren't picked first. He is getting better though.

My kitty felix loves his squeeky toy mice the most!!! He plays fetch with them and flicks them up in the air:p He loves these toys so i bought in bulk he now has 15 of them all around the house...sometimes when ppl come over they spot one and think its real:eek: thats soooooo funny!!!

Buffy loves feather toys. But on her feather toy she riped the feather of so we had to make somthing out of it.

welcome to PT katie..pics of buffy???...my shy also ripped feather off her toy and now plays with the feather itself...she'll bat it into air and then frantically try to beat it with both her paws..it's quite comical..:) :)

Sonny's favorite toys are anything he steals off the table. He likes to bat aroung my sister's beads and pompons for crafts. As long as he can make a mess and blame it on the dogs he is happy.

eek I have THIRTEEN cats and they EACH like different. from left to right paws: :o

1) she ONLY interest in strings, photos sitting out or pens to hit off onto the ground and HIDE them! :p

2) he ONLY likes a THIN thread (smaller than shoe laces) or thickers will scare him off lol, he's being cute!

3) he's CRAZY over feathers!! but bored with other toys.

4) he rathers to play with five - ten leggies wiggling, he thinks one string is my finger and *yawns* :rolleyes: oh yeah, little furred mice stuffed up with foam. he can toss it up in the air!

5) she ATTRACTS laserlight, and still looking for it 30 mins after I tired out. oh, foil balls too because it shines. (she's deaf so probably that's why seeing toys are important to her)

ok....6) she will play with only catnip mouses that haven't touched by others mouth..very fussy little girl!

7) nothing else, CATS are her toys, she waits for the perfect minute to BOUNCE on somecat's back, "you're it!" *zoom* to cattree* :eek: tsk tsk, be nice!

8) my fingers and toes!!! I always have to watch out for her needle teeth :eek: :eek: :eek: not that she would bite, even though she nip GENTLY, I'm still such a wimp! :D

9) she likes balls with bells in it - any toys without noise, she can't tell it's a toy!

the last four kittens, they like almost everything, especially the bike steels. I had to put the bike away before any of them get hurt! they kept going through the tire forth, back, forth. funny but dangerous...

and my favorite is...to play with them! never enough :( :D

For the knitters. Have you ever come into a room and the cat has unwound a whole ball of yarn all over the room? They just love that. Maybe they are trying to lay out a play area for us. They think we like to pick up the yarn and rewind. LOL

Seymore's favorite toys are currently corks from bottles of wine my parents drink. He also likes little bouncy balls that go really high. If you throw one for him he'll leap after it like a little leaping thing.
