Another wonderful cat was dumped in the park. We managed to capture her this evening, took her to the vet, had her tested (which was negative), and she stayed there overnight to be fixed tomorrow morning. We named her Gracie and pictures will soon follow. She is so sweet and PRETTY! We will be looking for a permanent home for her as soon as she is ready for adoption.

Congratulations Lisa on another successful TNR.
Looking forward to pictures.

 When will people learn that pets are not thrown away like garbage. Dear God, when will it ever end.:(

Unfortunately it will probably never end. We've been doing this for 5 - 6 years now, and it never ceases to amaze us. Gracie is adorable and so sweet. Hard to believe she could be dumped. We thought she was a new feral since we spotted her over a week ago, but she would never come to us. Then one day she just strolled up and let us pet her! So now she'll be fixed and hopefully in a new indoor only home soon!

Congrats on another successful trapping:D I hope that she is negative, that her surgery goes over well, and that she finds a loving forever home very soon;)
How great it is that you help so many helpless kitties *hugs for you*

A little update on Gracie: Everything is fine! She was in the very early stages of pregnancy, so unfortunately they were aborted. She had fleas and was treated for that, she was negative, and best part of all, she has a spot at one of the no-kill shelters once she’s healed from surgery. She will remain at the vets this evening, when we bring her home we’ll post her picture. We will foster until she is adopted. The vet said “she is so sweet”. That says a lot and I think she’ll find a home in no time!
