Bless you for listening to that little voice inside and saving Dusty from the meat packers. I think that little voice was the voice of God pointing out one of his special creatures! I have a runty little dog I got that way (I'm a BIG dog person). I went to the pound to get a big dog, and while I was filling out the forms for it, I couldn't help feeling the sad eyes of a little mutt in the cage by the door drilling into the back of my neck. She looked so sad I took her too and she's been the best dog I've ever had. It pays to listen!
I hope Dusty lives to a ripe old age!
