I'm sure we will be back at some point this summer - either the Memorial Day one or the July 4th one or maybe both. I was looking forward to seeing Keegan again. :) (and you of course). Leo was much more comfortable this time - but boy is he tired today. When we got home, Barney wanted to play and Leo did not - so Leo spent the night in his crate where the other two wouldn't bother him. I swear he didn't move an inch all night - usually he starts in his crate and then comes into the bedroom (his crate door is always open), but last night I didn't hear him come in at all.

Poor Pippi - he really wanted to play, but the play growling of the husky's intimidated the poor boy. Too bad there isn't separate sections for small and large dogs - I really think he wanted to play with the smaller ones.

I'm so glad everyone made it home safe & sound - we all had a great time! my camera's the old-fashioned kind, though, & I'll have to post my pics in a couple days...Aaron took some GREAT video of all the huskies zooming around after Dakota - "It's a husky stampede!!" He just went back home today, so I'm hoping he'll get it posted pretty soon. The food was #1st rate! Thanks everybody! And all the furkids liked the egg hunt treats - they were just too pooped to search very hard! Wasn't it great the sun shone & there wasn't any rain??:D

I didn't get a lot of pics of all the dogs that were there b/c a majority of them left before I got there, but I took quite a few when it was the Fire Trio and the Toledo Trio and Keegan. :) I took about 85 alotogether!!!

Amy and Kay have a safe trip back to FL/UT!!

Mark, the soup was delicious!

Cyber-sibes, I never got you or your husbands name :o , but the chili was so yummy. I loved the secret ingrediant.

Thanks to Carl and Phred, the grill masters.

All the food was delish! :D

Kay Ann and Amy, the easter egg hunt was so much fun! I just wanted to hunt for eggs over and over. :D

Maybe next time, you could put an 'X' inside one of the eggs and that would be the 'winning egg' so to speak. :)

Congrats to Roxey and Anna! I had a great time. :)

Yes, I'm finally taking time to post my pictures (hope you all still are interested in seeing them)!
What a fun time we had at the park on Saturday. It's too bad everyone couldn't come that had planned on it...you sure missed a good time!

Things ended up being kinda squished in the durango with 5 dogs (well I think Bon could be counted as 2 dogs;)), 4 people, Easter Egg hunt goodies, the food, cameras and such. Poor little Nebo and Kiara kinda got a little cramped:o

But my goodness were they ever good. Rode for almost 1 1/2 hr and never hardly even moved a muscle.

It was definately a husky kinda day...11 all together:eek: We had fun trying to tell them all apart, expecially in the pictures!

For some reason some of the dogs wanted to pick on my Bon boy. Of course he couldn't just stand there and take it...he picked back and this is what that got him:eek:

Hey guys,

I've really enjoyed seeing all the pics! I was just curious if there are ever any small dogs who can hang with the big guys there? I noticed Pippi was picked on. Was it because she's small or just personality clashes? I'm just curious about that since I dont ever really remember seeing any small dog pictures at that park. I vaguely remember a Yorkie and maybe a Chihuahua last year, but they seemed to be in peoples' arms more in the pics.

Aly, it really depends on what other dogs are there as to how the little guys do. There are some that do well with all the big dogs, but when they start to get 15 big dogs chasing them, they tend to get picked up for the sheer fact they could get run over. Pippi normally plays well with dogs of all sizes (her and Dakota are great buddies), but there just got to be too many in pursuit at the same time and overwhelmed her. Sierra isn't that much bigger then Pippi (Pippi is about 10-15 lbs, Sierra is ~25), but Sierra doesn't run the way Pippi does, so she doesn't get chased. It would be nice if Findlay had a separation so the little dogs could have their fun without getting trampled, but other then a few JRTs the park seemed to be mostly used by people with bigger dogs.

Robin sent the video to me.........it is SO CUTE! Your son did a really good job with it. I attempted to resize it so people could download it through here, hope that was ok. Some of the quality was lost but it's still adorable. It should be attached at the bottom of this post.
