Ty,

You are so handsome. What a unique way for you to be found!:eek:But you were lucky enough that you went into a VERY happy family!

Now you can't go scaring your mommy like you did when you jumped out of your tank. I bet you don't let all of your brothers and sisters push you around, cuz you're a TOUGH guy! Congrats on being POTD!

I couldn't imagine any boy better!:)

Just look at you Ty! Aren't you a handsome iggie boy :). The story of how you came to be with your forever home was fascinating! But no more great escapes for you now Ty, ok? You are just where you were meant to be! It's a good thing your human knew just what to do when he/she found you that cool New England morning. It sounds like you have a wonderful and pampered life now, a nice aquarium to call your own, bathing in the bathtub, window gazing, and lots of good food to keep you healthy and vibrant. Along with all that, you have so many friends to share your days with! I hope you have an especially wonderful day today Ty, to celebrate your day of lizard fame :D. Congratulations to our most adventuresome Pet of the Day!

Ty is a cutie! It sounds like he has found a loving home. I would suggest visiting http://www.iguanaden.com and http://www.anapsid.org for some great info on iguana, especially their diet. Lettuce is a big no-no for igs since it has no nutritional value. Check the diet pages at IgDen to find out how to keep your adorable green friend happy and healthy for a long time. :)

Aw, what a handsome iggie you are!
I'm so glad your grandma found you.
Seems you still crave a bit of adventure now and again though.

What a most precious and colorful iggy man you are, Lil' Ty!:D Wow, what an amazing tale of rescue! For sure a miracle was had that fateful day your humans found you in the yard! No, New England is definitely NOT iggy territory! And had it not been for her/his quick thinking, well, I dread to think what might have happend to you, sweetie! But we can happily report that Lil' Ty is now living the good life with all the love and good care a skinned kid could hope for...a spacious aquarium, your own pool, lots of yummy food and sunshine and a lifetime of love! Now, no more "great escapes," not even to the closet!:D Congratulations to you dear 'Lil Ty," our precious, most deserving Pet of the Day! Enjoy your very special day of honor with your proud humans, fishies Zebra, Sucker, Red and Stripes, Kermit the frog and Terror the cat:)

Ten minutes later, he opened his eyes and looked at me for the first time I instantly fell in love with Ty. :D :D :D
All animal lovers know this feeling so well and reading this just put a big smile on my face! I'm so glad little Ty was rescued from the harsh New England outdoors. He's obviously doing very well now...even has energy to be nawtee. :p

I hope you get a big green salad today, Ty, as you are our very special Pet of the Day! :)

Ty, you were so fortunate to be found by people that gladly rescued you (and know how to care for you) from the elements that surely would have been your demise. Blessings to you and your family, and enjoy your day of honour, special iggy! :)
