Your photo says it all...You are a lady of elegance and refinement and incredible beauty! I had to check back twice to make sure I was reading correctly, because I can't believe you are 14 years young! What IS the secret to your youthful glow? I'd bet it's all that love and pampering you've been lavished with these past 14 years:) Or maybe it's the Starkist!;) What a most loving and proud family you have been blessed with! And how blessed are they to have you there to make their lives complete, being their loyal companion, loving and protecting them 24/7! Oh Dixie, you are a beautiful cat and a real charmer :) I am sure your picture doesn't do you justice, Im sure you are even prettier in real life. I can tell you love your family so much and would do anything to protect them. You are such a watch cat- why would any family need a watch dog when they have a cat like you ;) I know that even though you growl and come off as a protective kitty, you are actually a real sweet heart that just wants to protect your family :D Oh what a sweet heart :) You are the perfect cat, i know you value nature- thats why you dont harm any of the things you catch. You're just making a statement right? We all know you are a talented animal that is capable of catching food :) Everyone loves your Dixie- your kind hearted nature, and beautiful qualities warm everyone over {even though you appear to be nothing but a protective cat when people first meet your ;)) You bring such joy to your owners life and I think thats wonderful. Even though you are growing older I know that you still act like you arent a day passed two. Dixie of Feb 18 2005 looks very much like Dixie of Jan 26 2005, and both are from Texarkana and are 14 yrs old. Unless this is a coincidence, seems to me that someone dropped the ball and repeated the COTD within a month, and surely there are other cats who have not been featured yet. (?) She is lovely, though!

I think you're right, she is the same cat featured both days. Right down to the Star Kist tuna! Pretty kitty!
