Oliver, what a life so far! And, only four years old. You stay good and healthy from here on out, you hear? I can tell from your eyes you have a lot of the mischief that the black kitties are known for. I hope your day is wonderful. Congrats on being our very best COTD!

Dearest Oliver (may I call you Ollie?), you certainly do live life on the edge! Come away from that dangerous edge, dear boy, back to where it's safer! We all want you to live a long, happy and healthy life. Congrats on your COTD status, and STAY HOME FROM NOW ON!

Dear Oliver, what a most handsome English citizen you are, such a shining and sleek black coat with beautiful green eyes. I sat on the edge of my seat as I read your harrowing tale. I could envision so clearly what it must have been like to open the door, and see you there frightened and hurt, calling for help. What a heartbreaker! But thank goodness this tale had such a wonderful conclusion, and now you are a very happy and pampered boy, once again safe at home (and hopefully to stay that way!). I bet those leg plates do not slow you down too much; as Cataholic said, those eyes look full of mischief yet ;). I hope you have an extra special day today Oliver, with lots of pampering and spoiling to celebrate your day in the spotlight! Congratulations on being our very handsome and very LUCKY black Cat of the Day!:)

That round-eyed little face is still full of adventure, but fate decided to slow Oliver down a little. At least now he should be able to enjoy having such a good home many more years than seemed likely. Bet he still presents his human with the odd "gift" now and then. Good luck.

Oh Oliver, dear boy! How your Mommy's account of your harrowing ordeal had us all on the edge of our seats, wondering just what your fate was to be! What grit, courage and determination it must have taken for you to find your way back to the safety of your home and the loving arms of your Mommy! We all know the incredible anguish she was experiencing; a furparent's worse nightmare...a missing baby. What joy mixed with heartbreak she must have felt when she saw you standing there in the doorway, hovering near death:( It is nothing short of a miracle that you survived to that point, but then again, you knew there was a lot of living, loving and mousing yet to do and somehow, you summoned the strength and courage to survive! Now, healthy and whole once more, (those plates don't hold you back one bit!) you are once again living the life of the pampered puss and hopefully, you've grown a bit wiser for it all too!:) After all, there's no place like home!:) Oliver, you are one brave, beautiful boy and SO deserving of our extra special Sunday Cat of the Day honors! Have a most wonderful, happy day celebrating with your dear Mom:) Hugs and kisses to you Oliver!:)
Oliver, you have such life and love in those big gorgeous eyes!! I am glad you're feeling better, what a horrible time you must have had. You are so sleek and elegant! We love Oliver!!! :) :D :)

Mew, Oliver -- what experiences you've had! I was abandoned, all alone it the big city until I found my purrents.
We are delighted to know you made it back in October 2001. Mew goodness, you were only 1 when that frightful adventure occurred.
Oliver, have you learned the most key survival factor? Meeow, I'll tell you, in case you haven't figured it out:
BE AN INDOOR CAT.
Very safe inside. When my KatMa & Paw-Paw first brought me in off the wicked streets I mewed, meeorrrwd, cried and made a pest of myself -- racing for the door if I thought it was going to be opened. I just wanted to be out! Then one day I realized: Mew, I'm not hungry; I'm not cold; rain doesn't wet my fur; I don't have to run and hide from bratty boys; no one in my Palace kicks me (I had broken teeth when my purrents found me) ...
to sum it up: BEING AN INDOOR KITTY ROCKS.
Mew, at my Palace we all hope you've become an indoor cat. Live long and healthy, happy & loved, you dashing, handsome boy!

Oliver
How handsome you are!
Such adventures you have been on too. I am so sorry about your injuries. I hope you consider staying indoors now. My cats do and they love it.
I so enjoyed seeing your wonderful picture today and meeting you!
Congratulations, sweetie, on being our special Cat of the Day!:D

Oliver, you are so blessed to have several more lives left after all that you have suffered through . . . let us hope those lives will be relished as an indoor kitty where no such awful things can occur again, dear boy. What courage it took for you to see your way back home, with all the pain your injuries surely were causing you . . . how dreadful, yet how brave and stoic of you to seek your guardian's help and comfort. Congratulations upon being selected as our extra special COTD, and I trust you are enjoying plenty of your favorite things in celebration! :)

Oliver, you are such a beautiful black kitty! My Janie, who is also black with a white neck spot, was purring when she saw your handsome picture. You have had a lot of excitement in your young life. I hope your wandering days are over and you accept the luxury that is bestown on a housekitty. Best wishes to you, dear Oliver, for long life, health, and happiness.

Oliver, you are such a pretty cat! I'm sooo sorry that happened to you! I hope you are an indoor cat now! I'm missy-the half siamese half tabby cat! And I miss my Trouble! He loved to be outside, until one day he didn't come home! I found out later from my human that he got hit by a car! I miss him, and now I don't go outside that much! I'm afraid of the street and cars! But now I have another friend Sammy, the Siamese Cat, he's very tempermental. He'll just come up to me and start biting me! It's quite annoying!
