Good Morning to cute little Pepper!! Aren't you just a little dolly sitting there so pretty dressed in a green bandana??!! You are such a kissable, loveable, little lady Miss Pepper. What happy news it is to hear about the great success of your heart surgery!! Your family loves you very much Pepper to take you all the way to Boston 3 times to get you all fixed up. We need more people like this in the world. Bless them for loving you so much!! We are sure that you are more than worth it sweetheart. Chasing lizards!!! We know, living here in Florida, that lizards are a VERY important part of our every day lives too!!! We still love to chase them on the porch if they come in. We haven't caught any either but it sure is fun isn't it Pepper? Your celebration party must have been alot of fun too. We are smiling at how cute this must have been to have been there and to see all the guests leaving with a loot bag. What a fun family you and Dusty have!!! Congratulations sweetie on being our oh so cute DOTD!! Celebrate again today with Dusty and the family and you two keep loving your lives like we do!! Happiness to all of you always!! Pepper, you are indeed our Miracle Dog of this day and any day. How wonderful that your heart condition was treatable. Even more wonderful that your folks saw to it, no matter what the challenges, for you to receive treatment. I think you will forever be an inspiration to any of us who might one day have to undergo the same procedure you did. I know if I did, I would take your picture with me and say to myself...*If Pepper could do it, I can do it.*

But let's not simply dwell on your medical history when there is your spirit, your spunk, your beauty and your way with people. heehee. Okay *Eberbuddie*, let's hear it for our Dog of the Day, Pepper.

It's so wonderful to hear that you have such a loving family that they were willing to go to Boston to have your hear problem fixed. Can't imagine people loving their dog more than they love you:)

Sweet Pepper, when I looked at your DoTD photo, I thought to myself, "How precious." As I began to read your story, I smiled at how you love to chase lizards and play with your best buddy, Dusty. But when I got to the part about your heart murmur, and the lengths your people went to to get you taken care of so that you could live a healthy and joyful life, my eyes blurred with tears, I was so deeply moved. Pepper, what a special pup you are and what absolutely dear people you have for your parents. They would take, and did take, any measure necessary to give you the longest and best life possible. You cannot illustrate the true nature of love and devotion any better than that. I know you return their dedication 100-fold, giving them laughter unconditional love every single day. I hope today is an especially fun-filled and wonderful day for you to celebrate your much deserved time in the spotlight. What a happy and healthy girl you are, thanks to your beloved family. Dearest Pepper! My fellow Pet Talkers have already said so perfectly. You are a MIRACLE DOG, a tried and true champion among canines and humans alike!:):):) The challenges were daunting for you and your humans, but in true Schnauzer spirit, you faced them with courage and grace and showed the world that with the love and support of family, anything is possible! Such is the miracle of unconditional love!
I can just imagine how you charmed them all, from pilots and passengers to doctors and nurses, on your way to recovery!:)

What an inspiration you and your family are to us all, Pepper! Bless your wonderful humans for going the "extra mile," doing whatever was needed to make you whole again!
