:( :( I had to put Revolution on my kitties today and now they are all running from me. I feel so bad when they act like that and I know they get over it quite quickly...but I don't want them to ever be afraid of me.

awww! now you feel like a meanie huh? Have they had Revolution before and have they had any reaction?? Mine had Advantage but thankfully they put it on at the vet - so *I* was not the bad guy:p
I asked because I have heard someone here say that Revolution made their cats act weird and one had a skin reaction. I guess any of the meds can do this, though - different systems on different cats. Mine did not even seem to notice the flea treatment at all.

No, the nawtees have never seemed to have any problems with Revolution. I have been able to try different samples of flea treatments; as my advisor works for several different pharmaceutical companies and I like Revolution the most. I don't have to pill them and it treats several different things.

If I could afford Revolution for all of my kitties, it would be my choice as well .... takes care of Fleas, Worms, and Ear Mites .... great product! Your babies will get over it quickly and now you know you have all the bases covered~!;)

Awww... poor kitties. I always pick them when they are sleepy and then treat them imediately afterwards. It makes for a lot less grief.

Why is that one little wet spot on the back of their neck make them act like you stuck a knife in them?!
I have so many that before I even start I write down everybody's name and make a check list because I know it's going to take me all day long to get them all. The first couple are no problem because they don't see it coming but then they go tell all the others and everybody goes into hiding!!
It is the one thing that I do to them that I don't feel guilty about and they still make me feel awful. I'm not making them go to the white coats, there is no pain involved, and I do it so quickly that they shouldn't even know it happened.
It must be because we didn't ask for permission first!;) :D

Our house is pretty small..two bedroom/two baths. I have to shut all the doors and of course, Callie (who is my heart) acts the most terrified. I have to chase her out from under the kitchen table and then under the coffee table...when I finally capture her she squeeks. :( She did forgive me the quickest today so I guess that is a good sign; but she is also the one who asks for the least amount of attention.

I do mine on different days too and write it down.. I swear, they can hear you pop the thing (no matter where they are sound asleep) and they know it's coming!!!

Our friend Catnapper, has the right idea, and the Found Cats, act like,it is a betrayal, when you put the drops,on thier neck. Then I ask them, where they would rather have the Fleas!

The nice thing about Revolution, is all you have to do is squeeze it in one spot, and it disperses from there. Advantage seems to be soooo much more liquid to apply!
