Hello everyone, am Rie Rie, Laura's Babies, Sweet , Loving, Dependable Skin Kid. My real name is Marie, only my mom and small children call me Rie Rie. As you all know, Chester stays with me while mom is crusing the Mighty Miss. I love having him her, he showers me with attention and susha sweetheart. He can be a pain sometimes, when I try to get onthe computer. He will come and sit his big butt right in front of the monitor and I can't see a thing. Then I will have to put him in my lap, which is funny to see, because he is so big and my lap is not big enough to hold all that cat. As with mom, I think he gets mad at me whenhe has to go home because when I go over there, I rarely see him and if he does grace me with his presence, he has very little to do with me. But, that's ok, because I know in just a few short weeks he will back with me andhe makes up for it.
I am owned by 1 cat and 1 dog. Annie, my cat will be 5 this year, doesn't seem like it's been that long. She came to me, or should Isay I went other a few months after my sweet Sasha of 15 years went to RB. I hadn't planned on getting another cat for a while, but I am a sucker for kittens and would have tons if my husband would allow it. Anyway, one morning my neighbor called me from a place of business and told me they'd found two kittens with no mom around. So, of course I rushed over there and they had an orangie and my Annie. I fell in love with her the instant I laid eyes on her. Didn't take but a minute to come with a name for her,,,,,,,,Little Orphan Annie. She was the sweetest little thing I'd ever come across, it was like she knew I was to be her new meowmie. I took exceelent care of her, bottle feeding her, burping her and doing the butt wipe thing and oh how she hated that part. When she was 3 weeks old I put her into a tiny litter box and she knew what to do, it was amazing. Of course they grow up fast and she wasn't the sweet little baby anymore, she turned into PHYSCO KITTY!!!!! The only time she really has anything to do with me is when I have food or I go to the bathroom, otherwise all she wants to do with me is try to have me for lunch!!!!! But, I wouldn't trade for anything.
My dog, Sparky is approx. 7 1/2 years old. He was a stray that showed up here back in 99. THere is a story behind that, but it's too long to go into right now, maybe another day. We had been here 10 years at this time and had had several dogs and cats come here and my husband would always say," Don't Feed'm". But when Sparky came along, there was somethig about him that just stole my husbands heart and he was the one to go to the store and buy him food and feed him.It took a while for Sparky to warm up to my husband, we think he may have been abused by an adult, because he took to my son instantly, but was afraid of adults. He is the best dog, like we all had this connection before he ever came here, it was amazing.
I also have a grandpuppy named Bear. He will be 2 this year and I've been babysitting him since my daughers boyfriend got him whenhe was 7 weeks old. He's the ugliest, cutest thing and quite bothersome at times. He snores and passes gas. The snoring is as loud as a grown man and the gas could clear a room. But we love him anyway.
I have two kids and a grandbaby. My daughter, Ashley will be 20 this year. She had the baby a year ago and got married this past Oct. My grandson, Dakota just made a year in Jan. and he is the prettiest little boy you've ever seen. That's not just NANA talking. When people seehim, they are just in Awe of how pretty and friendly he is. He has the best disposition of child that age and loves the attention. I also have been babysitting him since he was born and I love it, getting to watch him grow and learn new things.
My son, Cory will be 15 this year. I know you all do the adoption thing. I just wanted you to know that he is up for adoption, has had all his shots and is house broke. Probably could use more training, but is willing to learn. Just joking, mom told me to say that.
I've been visiting this sight for about as long as mom has, as soon as she showed it to me. I'm not able to spend as much time her as I'd like, with having the baby all day, but I truly enjoy it.
Thanks for welcoming me.
THis is Chester trying to get my attention.
