View Full Version : Bon passed his CGC test!!

And I couldn't be more happy:D:D

Tonight was his graduation from his beginners obedience and needless to say HE GRADUATED!! He got a certificate and a nice big bone (he was more excited about the bone than the certificate;))!

Then after class was over it was time for the CGC test.

We started to try it, but they were having other classes at the same time and things were a little exciting and he didn't want to listen to anything what so ever:rolleyes:
So the tester decided it would be better for such a young boy as Bon to wait till things calmed down and try it then.
Of course by this time I didn't think he was going to cooperate with me (he wouldn't down, stay or anything). I was ready to just go home but the tester said just to have a little faith in him and myself and he would do just fine. She was right! He did great!! I was so proud of him!!
He's not the best at sit/down stays but this time he sat there like a good boy, I walked away and he just sat there and watched me:D Needless to say I was extatic! He can just be so stubborn and bullheaded sometimes.

He's really come a long way and like the proud mommy I am, I just wanted to share:D

Congratulations, Bon!!!

When your mommy called to tell me the good news I was so happy and proud of you. I just knew you were a smart fella! Did you hear your mommy on the phone, Bon. I thought she was going to burst with pride ;) :p She has good reason to, you are such a good boy! I hear you are moving on to advance classes. Keep up the great work and keep making us proud.
