We found a baby chipmunk that we beleave one of our cats brought to us as a "gift" (you know cats) but the thing is the lil guy is still alive! I put him in a little cage and have him in my room so he can stay worm for the night I doubt it that he will make it through the night but if he does is there anythign I should do for him? I will tell ya all if he makes it or not we hope he does so that we can take him to the rehibilatator tomrrow.

I'd just make sure he's warm enough, and put a dish of water in there for him, and a little food, just in case. Poor Chippy! Do let us know, okay?

he made it through the night we called the guy and he said he does not accept chipmunks. So we are going to keep him I guess. I have him in a little cage and have hampster and gerble food in there for him and water. My mom says he probly only has a week till he would be able to be away from his mom so only a week or so to go! I am so exited for him I just hope he makes it!

Oh Im so sorry, just keep in mind that you made his last days very special. Not many wild animals get the chance to be loved and cared for by kind people like you.

I am so sorry. I know how hard it is to lose an animal you are trying to nurse back to health. I have "rescued" a countless number of injured, sick or abandoned birds, snakes, mice, and moles! Many of them die... they are just beyond our help. Don't feel too bad or blame yourself. There was really nothing you could do. You did your best and that's what counts!

You were so kind to rescue that furry critter! I can't say I've ever been thru anything like this as S'pore does not have such varied wildlife... hope u feel better!
