Oh Char, I feel privileged this morning to have gotten to read about how special you were, and are, to your loving Mom. You were one very treasured and loved boy, and although your time on earth was too short, you touched your humans' lives in a way that will last for all eternity. Char, your picture brought tears to my eyes this morning. I know how your Mommy's heart must ache at your absence, but someday you will be joyfully reunited at the Rainbow Bridge. Until then, you look after your Mommy from above. I know you are there with her in her heart every day. You are one very special Cat of the Day, dear Char

I'm sorry Char's life was so short. I know that your time with him was great though. He looks like my oldest cat, Ben (13 years old -- check out the link below).

Sweet baby boy Char. My heart broke when I read that you'd passed on. Yes mom, you are sad but he'll be back, no doubt. My sweet boy Boogie is now back as my boy Bear who made pet of the day in June 2001. It's funny, but as I get older, my special bonded to my heart black cats get smaller. I saw a pic of my first cat when I was a baby. He was a huge, sleek black one. My Boogie was the runt and so my heart. My bear is probably part Manx, also a runt, with a nothing tail. So to me, they signal the flow of my life.

Thanks for sharing your gorgeous boy Char with the humans of the world.

That is a shame such a sweet kitty did not have more time to share with the humans he loved. But the time he had was the best it could have been. If he had not found his home, what kind of life would he have had?

I'm awash in tears, reading your Mom's beautiful, loving tribute to her beloved best friend, Char. What a precious photo of you in all your feline glory, Char. I'm so sorry your time on this earth was so brief, beautiful boy. We all know the great sadness and loss your Mom is feeling. But the pawprints you left on her heart, the legacy of love you left behind, will never fade. And for sure, one day in the distant future, you both WILL be reunited in love. So until that day, wait there patiently at the Rainbow Bridge with all of our Rainbow Bridge Furangels and send down your love to comfort her.

Sweet Precious Char, you are an angel watching over your Mom. And Mom, know that Char IS with you and is still loving you as he did in life. NO matter how long our cats are with us, be it 16 years like our Boo, or only 2 days like our little Sylvia Purrgoli(she died of distemper), they leave such a hole in our hearts. There is a wonderful little poem called "Lend me a kitten(put those words in your search engine)." It is hard to read thru the tears, but it is a beautiful poem!!! Char, you are divine and gave so much love to your Mom . . . tell her to keep a watchful eye because you may be reincarnated to her but unrecognizable . . . she must have faith that your soul will someday return in another needy cat's body. You will never be forgotten, special one, and may you rest in peace. I am so sorry that Leukemia took you from this life, as I have 2 kitties with it and hope they will not succumb. I'm so sorry that you lost Char to leukemia. He was a beautiful kitty and you loved him very much. One day, when the time is right, there may be another kitty that needs your love like Char did. We never forget the beloved kitties who have gone before us.
