Big Buzz, we too, are in tears after reading your very very wonderful story. That day Mama and Papa found you in that hot pickup truck was the luckiest day for all of you. Buzzard was able to go hunting today, without the knowledge of his special day, on the last day of hunting season...of course they didn't get a shot!

After Cherry died, The Buzz took a week long trip with us to the high mountains and high lakes of Colorado! He loved it!! I have never seen him so worn out.

Buzzard now has a new little sister, Sissy May, a rescued German Shorthaired Pointer. They get a long beautifully. He was so young when Cherry Lu died, we could not bear the thought of his lonliness when we were away at work.

Thanks to all of you for your wonderful replies...they brought tears to my eyes!!
