Hello everyone,

Just wanted to ask everyone for some positive thoughts for our orange boy Odin.
We've had him now for a year, and you couldn't ask for a sweeter, kinder cat. My husband in particular has become extremly fond of Odin.
We noticed the other day that Odin has lost a noticable amount of weigh, rather suddenly. Of course there could be all kinds of reasons for this, and he is off to the vet on Wednesday. Please keep him in your thoughts, as this is a cat that deserves a long happy life with us! Odin came to us from a cat shelter where he had lived his entire life (almost 4 years) and we really want to make him happy and love him so that he forgets those first 4 years.
Thanks again for listening, I'm tearing up right now thinking that something could be wrong with him.:(

Just a real quick note to let everyone know that Odin was at the vet today. The vet did a full exam, including x-ray and didn't find anything wrong!
The vet suspects that Odin is actually older than we were told, and that he is just slowing down a bit in his golden years. I am sad about this, as I want as much time with him as possible, but the vet felt that there was no reason he wouldn't live to be an old old cat.
Thanks for all the positive thoughts.
Louise

I'm so glad Odin's tests came back ok.
Poor baby! He deserves to have happy "golden years" no matter how long they are. He is so blessed to have you and your husband!
