I'm getting my rats a new cage this week.
I have decided on martins as I have their cages now & love them.

I currently have 4 rats. I was wondering what cage you think would suit them?
Just for future referance I really don't think I'll ever have more than 4 rats at one time.

I was thinking either the H-600-HR or the R-690, powder coated

I know bigger is better, but I was really hoping to keep the total amount (shipping & everything) around $75, but the R-690 will be $91 after shipping but thats the one I really want. Gggrrr

OR if you have a personalk reccomendation please share it. Thanks

I think that cage would work...

My favorite cage is

the SC2424KD (third one)

It is very large and VERY fun for ratties! My rats have this cage and LOVE it ALOT. I also think it's a great deal on a wonderful cage! I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think Shipping is free also. I would call the toll free line to be sure about it though.

I would go with the R-690.. I know several people with the cage, and it comes highly recommended.

I just checked the cage calculator for rats, and the The Rat Highrise (H-600HR) isn't big enough for 4 rats.
Are your rats boys or girls?
The R-690 will hold 3.5 rats, so if you have girls it would probably be ok for them.

I would also go with the Martins cage, they are wonderful rat cages.
