Hello everyone. I'm new to 'Pet Talk'. I came across this site while looking for help with my pet situation. If anyone could be of assistance, I would greatly appreciate it!
The problem I am having is, my dog Macy is not getting along with my boyfriends dog, Jetta (3-year-old lab/pit mix). I know the age difference is an issue and this being Macy’s territory is another issue but is there a way they can live together and be happy? Is there a proper way to introduce them? Macy wants nothing to do with Jetta. She just does NOT care. She ignores her. Jetta on the other hand would love to play with Macy.
My boyfriend has had Jetta since she was a pup. He feels he’ll have to find her a new home and that breaks my heart! I’m willing to try anything. I would die of a broken heart if I were in his shoes... I’m sure we all would. I don’t want him to have to get rid of her. If there is anyone out there who can help us we would greatly appreciate it.
