I thought I was certain on wanting an Aussie but I stumbled across the English Pointer and they are awesome dogs. I've done tons & tons of research on both breeds and know everything about both breeds and both breeds suit me, my needs & my lifestyle just perfect, the same.
I am having a very tough time deciding. I need to soon though so I can get on a waiting list.

Any ideas how to decide between the 2?
Any suggestions, facts, stories about either breed that may make my decisioin easier?

AUSSIE!!!! :D And I'm expecting LOTS of pics!! ;)

Well, if you think an Aussie is right for you - go for it! They are VERY smart and trainable dogs... They can be trained to do anything from obedience, to dog sports like agility and flyball, to search and rescue, to therapy dogs, etc... Great with kids (well, older kids.. they might knock over toddlers), just generally good with everyone and everything if raised properly and socialized.

But you know your own lifestyle - Will an Aussie be a good addition to your family? Will you be able to have time to properly care for one - exercise, both mentally and physically? Which dog can you actually picture yourself having?

My best advice - Go with your gut feeling. If you've wanted an Aussie for so long and feel it's the right dog for you - GREAT!! :D But if you feel that a Pointer might be better for your lifestyle, that's great too. :)
