Yes there are several people on here that have dachshunds. Your title is "letter" though so I doubt many people are going to know what this thread is about. You may want to start a new thread perhaps titled something more appropriate like "Dachshunds."

Also realise what time you posted this, it's past 1 a.m. where I'm at and even later many places...not many people are awake at this time. You'll have to wait a while before anyone replies.

Welcome to PT! I have one Dachshund named Tia, she is a smooth mini red female:) She doesn't look like a normal Dachsie but her parents did. Here's a picture of her and one of her mom (RB Jesse) for you:
