Snowball has been haveing very changeable moods lately & also is into biteing again.
Maybe it is because of it going to be a new moon or change in the weather but she sure is jumping from one mood to another fast.
This morning she wanted to play ,now she is asleep but when she wakes up I do not know what mood she well be in next & so I just try to cope with what ever one show up at the time.

My Cassy (neutered male, about 5 1/2) has been bouncing off the wall weird lately, especially when the winds are high.

I'm not sure about menopause for cats.

I am not sure about the menopause bit because Bastet has been spayed. But she has been bouncing moreso lately off the walls - I think its to do with the devestation of the Tsunami and the implications of that causing animals (my two dogs are acting weirdly as well) to act unusually.

This is very interesting because all of my boys have also been very active lately. I just thought it was due to the cooler weather that we've been having.:)

I'm not sure if cats go through menopause but when I was growing up, we had a female cat named Puff and the older she got the moodier she got. She could be a sweetheart one minute and real bitey and fiesty the next minute. Maybe it was due to PMS.;)

I've also noticed that about a week before the full moon, all of my cats, especially Sunny, will be bouncing off the walls and very active at night. They have nightly cat parties.:D The night of the full moon though, they all seem very relaxed and tranquil. I would think that they'd be the most active during the full moon but they aren't.

The reason I can tell is that they have their toys scattered all over the place. LOL:D
