Adoption Possibilities

After much discussion. Lee Roy and I may be adopting little Kasie here. We have to wait for Mina's surgery which is scheduled for the end of the month, and then go from there.

What do you guys think?

The foster home that has her want me to wait until after Mina has her surgery at the end of the month. (because of her conditions I have to get her claws removed. Now she won't be suffering all the time.) If you've notice Kasie is also declawed too.

They said they will hold Kasie until the end of February if I want so Mina can also have time to heal after her surgery. I think they will get along fabously.

Me either. Lee Roy is still a little worried about it, but I think once he sees how well Kasie functions he will relax. We think the most that will hurt Kasie is a case of arthritis when she gets older.

Kasie is a real beauty! I hope it all goes as planned and I can't wait for her to be a new PT member!! She is really pretty and I'm sure Mina will be happy to have a playmate. This is so exciting!!!:D :D :D

We adopted Mina on September 15th 2004. She is a brown tabby cat. One of the ladies in our prosecutor's office cat had kittens and only two survived. She had originally gave Mina the name Martha. I didn't like it so we changed it to Mina after my favorite movie Braham Stroker's Dracula. The lady that gave me Mina kept her brother Clyde. We are trying arrange a day where they can maybe play together. Right now Mina is an only kitten, and I want to get her a playmate.

thanks for the info.... I was just wondering because while living in Florida and working at the shelter there, I fostered a little girl named Mina' and the people that adopted her were from central Michigan. I just thought how weird would that be to be able to follow up on her here... I was just hoping.. :)
She was a beautiful white kitty with two gray streaks on her forehead... I'll attach a picture below....

Thanks. I'm hoping to have a day off this weekend when I can go visit her, and will hopefully meet another PTer.
