I got home yesterday after spending the afternoon & evening with friends, and started feeding the critters. The 2 adult cats, the dog, the rest of the 4 younger (mostly foster) kitties - but where is everybody?? One was missing!

I looked and called and finally realized that I must have left little SweetPea out in the backyard HOURS ago - and she wasn't at the window or the door and I didn't see her anywhere. I felt sooooo bad - I'd left my baby kitty outside!!! (They're only allowed out into our backyard when I can supervise and be sure they come back in! - How did I miss bringing her back in????)

Thank goodness she heard my calls and came to the back door - don't know where she'd spent the last 5 or 6 hours, but I was sooooo relieved to see her!

Here's her picture from under the Xmas tree! She's a grey tabby that someone found in a dumpster when she was only 3 weeks old. I hand fed her for several weeks and just love her to pieces - can't believe I went off and left her outside.

Her name fits her perfectly! She LOOKS like a Sweetpea! I'm glad she heard you calling her.

Oh I am so glad to read that you got your precious little Sweetpea back. She is such a sweetheart. You are not a bad meowmie, i'm sure most of us had misplaced one or more of our kitties at one point.

I said that if I ever get another female kitty, she will be named Sweetpea, as I just love that name.:)

She's adorable. Glad she's okay and safely back inside now.

She is a real Sweetpea, isn't she.. I see why you named her that. What a little doll! That is a beautiful picture of her! Phew! What a relief you found her, poor baby..

Dont feel,too badly,as Cats,can be very,very clever,when they want out,and are faster,than thier Guardians,when it comes,to fast exits!
