12/9/04, 5pm: Thirty-six year old Stephen Moro was arraigned yesterday on charges of endangering the welfare of a child. Moro is a band teacher at Durgee Junior High School. Police say a 14-year-old girl was in Moro's office for a music lesson, wearing a blindfold.
Lt. Michael Lefancheck\Baldwinsville Police: “Our understanding is yesterday when this incident occurred, he was assisting this victim in memorizing a piece of music. That was the indication we had from the parties involved.”
Blindfolding, other students tell us, was a technique that Moro often used to help students concentrate on the sound of the music. The girl told police when the blindfold was removed, Moro exposed himself.
He's been suspended from teaching, and banned from school grounds. He'll be back in court in January. Meanwhile the Baldwinsville School District is conducting an investigation of its own.

When the blindfold was removed, Moro allegedly exposed himself to her. Moro has been released on his own recognizance. No word yet if he's been suspended from his teaching job.

This is discusting! :eek: I know the girl it happened to! :( Its right at my junior highschool too. The funny thing is, is that all his students say he was there favorite teacher. :confused: How could someone do this?:rolleyes:
