I'm posting because a very good friend of mine, who I worked with while with the Connecticut State Police as an Auxilliary State Trooper, died on December 8th in upstate New York. :(
Bobby was a wonderful man who was a Connecticut State Trooper (Badge 1005). This tall, strapping handsome young man was a credit to the CSP uniform. He retired in 1999, after serving the state for 21 years.
Originally from North Branford, Connecticut, he moved to NY after his retirement and opened Petersons Star Farms.
Bobby and I used to do DUI roadblocks and other assignments together and had personal jokes about "pocket puppets" and the FTO symbol on his uniform lapel (Field Training Officer).
He was 46 years old at the time of his sudden passing.
RIP Bob. I'll never forget your beautiful blue eyes and sweet, mischievous smile. :(
