Well - I am new to these parts so I figured I would start by saying hi to everyone and introduce you to my fur babies...
The eldest and Alpha is named Yukon (10 year old grey/white)... we love to call him by a few of our favorite names... Let's see there is Yukie Dukie, The Yukonator, Grumpy Ole Man, and Yukon Jack.
He is by far the more vocal of my pair. If he has something to say.. he wont hold back ~ trust me on that.
My other sibe is named Cherokee(4-5 year old red/white) - he has a few nicknames as well but generally we stick to these two: Cherokee Von Noodle Head -or- simply noodlehead for short. He has this uncanny ability to move his head/neck around as if he were... well imagine stevie wonder when he is singing and dancing the way he moves his head and neck.. I would swear he is trying to immitate Stevie.
I will include pictures of my boys so you can see how sweet they really are. Both of them were rescued by my wife and I. After taking in Yukon 5 years ago we decided to start volunteering with a Siberian Husky rescue group out of Central Florida (bout 5-6 miles northwest of me). After a year of that we decided to launch our own rescue. We have been running it ever since -
South Florida Siberian Husky Rescue (http://www.sibrescue.com) is the name of our group and we can be found heavily in the Ft. Lauderdale & Miami areas of SFLA.
Anyhow.. thats a brief about me.. and I look forward to meeting more of you.
Best regards ~ Bill
This is Yukon all 75lbs of him and my 2 1/2 year old son named WillZilla (long story ;))
