I took a HUGE chance today and left little Miss Nermal (Mandy) alone, and loose with my other kits while I'm at work. Can't wait to see what I come home to tonight.

Mandy is an absolute hoot! Moo is smitten with her. This tiny 3.6 pound beast walks around doing the old sideways "cat walk" with her tail puffed out trying to act like she's such a tough chick. As soon as you look at her, she purrs. It's great entertainment. Will post more pictures when I get home.

Eventually,you do have to let her.out on her own,and I hope,that it works out,for Mandy.There moght be some hisssing,and spitting,but I think,that things,will work themselves out.

I can't wait for the pictures!!

Want to know what one of MINE did last night?? My eye glasses are GONE, I can not find them and I can not see ANYTHING without them. I dug a old pair out and that is what I am useing right now but I will have a horriable head ache soon! (Giz is bad about wanting to play with them and she is not telling where they are!)

Laura,

Mine did the same thing to MY glasses. Because I didn't have insurance at the time, I went out and bought cheap reading glasses for the time being. I finally got my eyes tested and have a new pair of glasses with no line bifocals. The cheapies were giving me headaches.

Why can't cats just play with the toys we buy them?

When I left for work this morning, I looked at her in her room with the baby gates up. It tore my heart out to see her in there while everyone else was free to roam. She kept "mewing" at me so I figured, oh, all right already. You're on your own. My arrival should prove VERY interesting!!!

You should see my glasses!!! Unfortunatly she didn't hide them, but left them with holes all in both lenses it looks like I have dirt all over them! She really chewed the crap outta them.

Are you keeping the little kitten>?

The apartment was in the same condition when I left it, messy but in one piece!! :D

Jods,

My cats just hid them on me. I've NEVER been able to find them. It's been 2 years!

What a cutie! Are we to assume there were no chunks of fur and/or skin lying around..no signs of fighting????? Wouldn't that be perfect... She looks the type to snarl and spit and lie down with a swish of the tail, letting everyone know to back off!!!!

Donna Mandy is absolutely adorable! I know how you felt the first day you walked out and left them all alone....TOGETHER! I have worried myself sick over several. The first week Magoo was out its a wonder I didn't fall over from a heart attack at work! Then leaving frisky kittens out alone with Goo for the first time caused the same reaction. Big time STRESS!
Just like you I came home to everything just like I left it and no one needed stitches! I guess we need to learn how to trust them to work things out. Do you think they do nasty things only when we are home to see it? I think they save that kind of junk for us just so we will worry.

Mandy and Moo sound so sweet together! I love the names together and I bet they are adorable with each other. Is Moo in love????;) :D :D

Lisa,

Is Moo in love????

I think so. He and Mandy go nose to nose all the time. He's not aggressive at all with Mandy as he was with Fawnie.

She's such a sweet baby. I never heard from the nail lady again. I hope not to  Mandy is mine, plain and simple. At least she'll be celebrating Christmas in her furrrever home instead of that awful shelter.

I have a question... I'm not being rude or anything I'm just wondering I thought you had to re-home most of your cats cuz of some hard times? How come you got a new cat then?? Don't take that wrong I'm really just curious.

Jods,

http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=65730&highlight=I+am+so+furious

I did rehome 3 of my cats to wonderful homes and had absolutely NO plans for any other furbabies. Unfortunately, Mandy was thrust upon me. Read the thread and you'll understand.

No offense taken.
