THANK YOU CATNAPPER! Here it is everybody!!

Catnapper did a sketch of Lucky and Louie for Kevlin and Rhonda and sent it to them as a wonderful surprise for what they have done to help those two boys.

Those of "us" that knew about it, kept out secrete well and it WAS a surprise for them...but the rest of us had been having fits to see the actual picture so here it is.. I had to prop it up and stand off to the side to keep the reflection off of the picture so I took several different shot at different angles. This is 2 shots of the same picture that Catnapper drew and I put them together to HOPEFULL make a smaller picture to post.

Catnapper, this was so thoughtful and sweet of you to do, the thought, time and effort was well worth the results and your work has not gone unapperciated. We LOVE it!! (To the copier I go to make copies!!!)

Catnapper Kim, I am so in awe of your talent! You captured the spirit and personality of both of those kitties perfectly! Thank you Leslie for your gift to Lucky & Louie's foster parents, and for all your time, and energy spent on finding a way to get them here! Not to mention the $$$ getting them here! Did I not tell you (QSL) that these two boys are just the sweetiest?? Unusually sweet! I will ALWAYS regret not being able to keep them myself.. They are all anyone could want in a kitty baby. Kevlin has some of the most adorable pictures of them cuddeling together and he tried to burn them to a CD for me but for some reason, they kept messing up. Actual cuddeling and snuggeling together pictures of them as they slept and that drawing Catnapper did looks so much like some of those pictures that it was uncanny!

Yes, she did capture them perfectly in that drawing and that is hard to believe since she had not met them..

But ain't they the sweetiest southern gentelmen you ever met!!! By the way, prewarn their prospective adoptive parents, they meow and pur in CAJUN only! They are CAJUN kitties fresh out of the swamps of Louisiana!

Thanks all for such super kind words! (I purr...). I merely felt that Kevlin and Rhonda AND Laura should have a special gift for all the above and beyond love they bestowed upon these two boys! I will never forget talking to Rhonda at midnight about poor Lucky's eyes not responding to the flashlight, hadn't eaten in so long, etc, and they wanted so much for their love to help him. How can dollars matter in such a case? They went out into the night to an ER vet for him... and took him back and took in his brother and confronted the neighbors for ownership rights. They did all they could! I hope the portrait brings back good memories!
As far as the boys go, we are glad they are stars at Pet Smart and trust the volunteers to do a great screening job on potential homes. They are all well aware of Lucky and Louie's "media" exposure here!There are 4 poloroids (2 with santa) that Jan has yet to figure out how to scan and put here... soon maybe?)
Again, thank you everyone over the last several months for support! We shall keep ya'll posted!

Leslie, now that I see you are back, I want to personally thank you for getting us that beautiful drawing that Kim did. I wanted to Thank YOU for everything on the boards since that is where this all began. I am sorry I wasn't here to see the boys off to you, I would have liked to tell them Good Bye and Good Luck and kiss them one last time.

Leslie, you are a great human and wonderful angel to the felines of this world. The world needs more people like the people here on this board and I thank you for just being YOU...

(leslie, I haven't talked to Kevlin since Saturday so I don't know if the kennels made it back there yet or not... NO sweat, I have the 2 I had bought to ship the boys in so there is no shortage of kennels here.)
