Introducing my new baby .. "Ditto"

Since losing my precious Tucker Man .... I have been searching Petfinder basically all over this area .... looking for another medium haired B & W boy to make me feel like I still have a bit of my Tucker with me. I was beginning to get discouraged, when I suddenly found this little boy, right here in my own town, only 5 minutes from my house!

Meet, Ditto!!! (as in ditto of Tucker) He is approximately 6 months old. I had him tested for Felv and FIV (negative on both) and got all of his shots. He is scheduled to be neutered on Dec. 27th.

Thank you! That's exactly what I wanted to do ... honor Tucker's memory by adopting another one similar to him. As it turned out, Ditto came from the exact same shelter as Tucker did! ;)

Thank you all so much for the kind words and thoughts on my new Ditto. I felt a bit guilty looking for "another Tucker" but when I found Ditto at the same pound as where I got Tucker, I felt then that it was the right thing to do! I have to remind myself that this is NOT Tucker, and not to expect him to be just like him, but I was so thrilled to wake up in the middle of the night with him on my chest last night! Just like, well ... you get the idea!!!:eek: ;)

Kuhio, that poem was perfect and brought tears to my eyes .... thank you for helping me feel that this was the right thing to do!;)

I still mourn my Tucker man, more than I guess is healthy, but by being able to touch Ditto and feel and smell what I remember to be Tucker, it is helping! ;)
