*ORANGE* warning -Dylan's ONE year Gotcha!!

Thought I would make a Dylan thread since it is almost exactly one year since he came to live with us - 12/03/03. This is the petfinders picture that first attracted me to him - his mane was all shaved - I guess from mats? But, he has never again had any tangles at all.

He lived at the shelter about an hour away and had been there since the previous summer. The volunteers said folks thought he was too fat! Oh well, that meant he was saved for ME!! Here is when we first got home..

This is the first time I have posted to the boards, though I have been viewing the boards for a couple of months now. Debbie, your cat Dylan is absolutely beautiful. How other people could have passed him up is their loss and your gain. He looks like a lion with his mane. LOL..

I think my cat Rocky may be a close relative to Dylan, though he is a Canadian cat and has tuxedo markings.

What a wonderful story, Debbie. I had no idea about how Dylan came to live with you. I sure am glad he did!! He is just adorable. I grew up with an orange cat named Tigger. That boy was sort of like Butter, but we wouldn't have traded him for the world (at least not my sister and me......our dad was another story).
