new bird cage question

i am getting Lucy a new cage. the one he's in now is 9 yrs old!

my question is how do i go about introducing his new cage to him? it's gonna be a bigger cage and a compleatly different shape and everything.

Keep the cage in the same room as him for a few days first, let him play in/on it and get used to it, then move him in but leave his old cage for a day or two before you remove it. Have fun! :) :) :)
