I received a phone call from the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown NY, asking me to supply them with mittens! I haven't actually spoken with the person interested in the mittens, but it surely has me excited. I suspect I will do better next year, but this year, lately, the mitten orders are flying in. Now, if I could only grown 4 more hands. I think I will ask my Mom to help out a little!

Knit one, pearl one......pet the cats.

Well, as it turns out, they want a dozen mittens for the Fenimore Museum of Fine Arts! Wow, what a feather in my cap. I am excited and hope they buy more for next year. They didn't even ask how much I wanted - just to send a bill with the mittens. I will keep you guys in mind when I am famous.

Thats great news!
Sasvermont, Do you make them out of dog fur?
If so can you make scarfs? How much hair is needed for a nice one?

I have always wanted a scarf made out of Nanook hair.
