Benjamin went to live at my friend's house yesterday. He will be living inside, and well taken care of. My friend said I can come and see him any time... I still miss him though. It was so weird and quiet in my bedroom last night, without him there.
I'm so upset at my stepdad for making me give him up. I wish I lived on my own now, so I could keep Ben...
I miss you my bunny boy.

:( That breaks my heart. I don't know what I would do if someone made me give up one of my pets........run away maybe.

I considered moving to my dad's house... but my sister wouldn't be able to come with me, because of her school. And I'd feel bad leaving her here alone.
At least Benjamin is in a good home though

I'm truly sorry! :( That's just so sad! But think on the bright side, atleast you don't have to give up the rest of your pets!

I don't know if that's true or not. I mean, if I was renting an apartment, and the landlord says "no more pets" then wouldn't I have to get rid of him, or find another place to live?
:( *sigh* why can't everybody be "animal people"

Rachel, I'm sorry you had to give him up to go live at your friends house. I guess you can at least visit when you want to, can't you?
At least Benjamin is in a good home.
Benjamin sure is a cute little bunny. I can see why you hated to let go of that cutie!

I understand what you mean, in my experiences people have been more willing to rent their houses to people who have two 3 year olds, rather than rent it to me and my mom when we've got dogs who flew right through obedience class, would rather die than make "mess" in the house, etc etc. No surprise that after those landlords who'd rather have the kids tearing up the house than my trained dogs, wind up selling their properties less than a year later. I guess going in to see baby vomit stains and juice all over everything got annoying for them.
Maybe laws are different where you live but once your 18 you make your own decisions. there are some places that I bet theyd let you have a bunny, places that rent to people who have cats and small dogs you know :) you think the person you gave your little boy to will be willing to return him to you??
:)
