So I thought I fixed the problem of Mokey getting out of the cage by covering the top of it. Yesterday I went over to Alexa's (that's where Mokey lives) and Mokey squeezed out of the side of the cage and ran up and greeted me. So far she only escapes when I am there to visit her, which would be fine if it wasn't for Tuna and Pocky (Alexa's cats). Normally the cats are good if Mokey is sitting on my lap, but I think watching a rattie scurry across the room is too much temptation for 2 kitties. So Mokey is in her old cage by herself until I can Mokey proof the other cage.

Hee hee - Mokey-proof! what a smart little rattie- but you are right, it's best not to tempt fate - or cats! Good luck Mokey-proofing!
