Thought I would share some of my baby's pics. I tried earlier today and couldn't get them to work. But now I think I've gotten the hang of it. Enjoy!!

So cute! My family had a bunny like her named Thumpy! He was huge, though! :)

Prissy is a lop mix (I think part Holland Lop and part Mini Lop). She weighs almost 5 pounds. Pictures of bunnies always make them look huge. She fits really nicely in the crook of one of my arms. She has a LOT of fur - so she always looks bigger than she really is anyway. She is very long when she stretches out on the floor. I always brag about her to everyone because she is such a good bunny. She has immaculate litter habits and she is very sweet! Every morning, before I open her cage door (if she didn't sleep in my bedroom for the night), I stick my face up to the cage bars and tell her good morning. She sits there and licks my nose as if to say "Hi mom!" It is so much fun! She's great!

Wow! She is stunning.... now... I want a rabbit! (Man, my kids would think I have lost it for sure if I told them I wanted a rabbit!!)

Your kids would probably love a rabbit. But they are a lot of work, especially at first when you are trying to train them. I hate nothing more than for someone to think rabbits are to be thrown in a hutch in the backyard, only to be visited once or twice a week. My bunny is like any dog or cat. She needs daily attention and affection! When she won "Pet of the Day" on 09/23/04, I told of my many adventures with her. Some were funny at the time, and some were not. But all in all, she is well worth it!
And please don't hear me saying there is anything wrong with a bunny living in a hutch in the backyard. My point was that rabbits can't just be put in a cage and be forgotten. They need some type of social life just like almost any other animals! Here in Texas, my bunny would die of heat exhaustion if I put her in my backyard (which has no trees at this time). So she lives in the comfort of the air conditioning in the house. And she gets the run of the house when I am home. And when I am not, she gets to stay in her three story bunny abode (condo). Spoiled for sure!!

Prissy says....
"Thanks for your kind words! I am glad you like my pictures! My mom takes a lot of pictures of me. I guess that's what humans do. Anyway, she tries to sneak up on me and snap a picture or two - but I usually catch her in the act and hop away before she gets the shot she wants! HAHA! It's my little game - but don't tell her! I like to hop away and shake my little head and ears to say na-na-na-na-na - you can't catch me!! It is fun to play with my mom. And if she falls asleep on the floor or the couch, I wake her up by jumping right in the middle of her stomach or back. She always jumps when I do that. It's pretty fun!!!"

Abby, Prissy says thanks for the compliments (as she cleans her ears with her paws). She knows she is too cute! She would love to meet Speedy - although Prissy tends to run on the "snobish" side. Whenever she is around another bunny or any other animal, she just watches them and has this look on her face like "YUCK - WHAT IS THAT? AND COULD YIOU PLEASE GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!!" It is so funny. She has no clue she is an animal. She'll even shake her head and turn her back on them. Oh well - I love her so much anyway!
