Post subject: Extra special needs PB in TN only has 2 weeks to find a home

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all,

This story is so sad. This poor dog had an injury that caused her to be paralyzed. The vet that did her case wants her to be adopted out to that extra special home the other 2 vets in the practice say she has no chance at a happy life. They have agreed to give the vet that wants her adopted 2 weeks to find her a home. Can anyone help this poor furbaby?

So heartbreaking and so heatwarming at the same time. After all the time, love and funds that have poured forth to help save this beautiful girl,I can't imagine how the 2 "other" vets could deny her a chance:( I hope and pray China finds her forever family very soon. She's precious. Lots of prayers coming your way China; hang in there sweet baby girl.

China has been adopted by a great family and since she's been there she's been standing on own for a few minutes at a time before she falls over, so, they are actually hopeful that she may walk again without the aid of the wheelchair.

I posted here (probably under Dog general) about China a few weeks ago, and just deleted her picture from my documents today. I was hoping that sweet looking girl would get a home, and I'm so happy to hear that she has! Thanks for the update mugsy!;)

Great ending to China's story. She looks like such a sweetheart...And 2 vets wanted to put her to sleep?? Now I ask you, what is wrong with THAT picture???? They should have been pulling for her 100%!!!

I've never been able to understand why vets are always in such a rush to boot out an animal in need at their office. They have the space and resources (and money) to help more than anyone. You would think that someone in the profession to help animals would be a little more compassionate in situations like this.

Way to go China, you showed them!!
