Two years ago, my angel was born.
He came into my life in the year of 2002, and it was definately love at first site.
That year, I had been very stressed out and was going through a lot of "down" times. I had been begging my parents for a puppy, but the answer was always no.
My dad had went fishing up north, and he had brought Digger. While talking to him in the phone, I heard whining & crying in the background. My dad said that it was Digger.
When my dad pulled into the driveway, I tried to pretend like I had no idea what was going on. But, I had a gut feeling that someone wonderful was about to enter my life.
He told me that he had forgotten the eggs in the car. I walked out to the car and opened the door. I started looking for the eggs and saw a small bag of puppy food on the passenger's seat.
I grabbed the puppy food bag and looked at the bag. When I looked up, I saw a little, white fluffy pup looking at me from the driver's seat. I gasped and grabbed him. I squeezed him and I began to cry. He let me squeeze him & didn't wiggle at all.
I carried him & the puppy food into the house. I tried to hide that I had been crying. I started asking questions. "Male or female?"
He told me that my baby was a male. I said, "What breed is he?" My dad said, "You tell me."
I studdered the word Samoyed & i said, "Wait, I don't know." He nodded and said "Yes you do."
Then, I started playing with him. I tried to think of names. So many names came through my head. Banjo, Quinn, Simba...
After a bit, I decided on the name Quinn. I called him 'Quinn' for about 3 days and then I figured out that 'Quinn' did not fit him. Finally, I thought of the name 'Prince' and it stuck.
Prince gained the nickname of "whitefox" from my dad. It bugged me that he called him that. I would yell at him and say, "He has to learn his REAL name!"
Prince now goes by both names, and he loves both of them. I can tell.
On Christmas day, my close friend passed away. I was loaded with greif. I remember lying and my bed just squeezing that dog and just lay there with me. He helped me through that healing process so much. I don't know what I would've done without him.
And that how he got the name "Prince Taylor- White Fox." (AKC registration)
I have spent almost two years with him. Two wonderful years. I have never been this close to a dog before. Never. NO dog could EVER replace him.

Today, we took out his dog harness & hooked him up to a wagon so we could start training for sledding this winter. He loved it. We also are ordering some equipment (slip collar, sled bag, booties) from our Black Ice magazine for sledding this winter.
Later that evening, my dad and I went to the restaurant in our town (DW's) and got him a hamburger.

I'd say that he enjoyed it. ;)
