I almost forgot to say Mercedes went for her shots yesterday... She weighs 100 lbs... I guess thats how big she's gonna get... Small for a dane.... but I guess some ppl would think thats big... The vet said she's in great condition except some plaque on her teeth... I brush them 2... The vet said to try some type of bone any suggestions??

 She weighs more than my 3 put together!

I'm glad her shots went fine and she's in great condition. You can get dental bones designed especially for helping prevent plaque - I don't know any particular brands but you should be able to get them at most pet stores. :)

i'm glad she got a clean bill of health.:D as for the teeth cleaning. i would suggest getting greenies. they are made for cleaning teeth and dogs think they tase great. they aren't all that cheap though.

Not everyone's comfortable with this but raw bones are both cheap and natural tooth brushes! :D We get raw beef bones for free from our butcher. I've brushed Kai's teeth once or twice in his entire life but he has amazing teeth cause of the bones. :)

RB Max chewed on Bleached White Cow Bones. He loved them & his teeth were in great shape for a 9 1/2 year old dog, thats what his vet said anyway.

I give mine DentaBones, they LOVE them, and I think they work well!!
But they make a mess in the house. So they only get them out in the yard!!
