Hello -New to this Forum

I've got a 4 year old Male Vizsla who is rapidly turning gray. Just curious if anyone knows of a method to slow down this process ?. I'm sure if there was something out there, it would be all over the place and I would have seen it..Might be a good way for someone to make a WHOLE lot of money !

It just kills me to see his beatiful red coat turn to "old"

Thks Steve

Hi Steve, welcome to pet talk. 4 yrs does sound young to go grey. I don't know of any way to prevent it but I have seen pictures of people who dye their dogs' hair. Possibly not the solution you were hoping for but that's what us humans have to do.

Addison's is a possibility along with possible hypothyroidism.

I'm surrounded by Labs and often, around 4 or 5, you start to see gray/white coming in around the face, especially on the balck Labs; Goldens too! Hopefully it's not due to a health reason:)

he was a little over 3 yrs old.
You can see his gray in the picture below. :)
