Shetland Sheepdogs:
What's not to love? :D They're small/medium dogs, have such soft coats I could pet all day, are generally easy to train, are extremely versatile, and generally make good watch dogs (at least, my two are).

Border Collies:
They're a nice size and excel in so many things. They're wonderful at herding, flyball, obedience, etc. I love their ball, fetch, ball, fetch personality. :D

Louisiana catahoula leopard dog. :) They are amazing dogs -- steong, agile, and brave. They are used for absolutely everything; that's why they are nicknamed "the most versatile breed in the world." They are so smart and such beautiful dogs. I can't wait until I get mine.

Yup, those are my babies! We've only had Sherman about six months, and he is SOOO sweet! I really like that pic of Star- she looks a little "wolfie" in it - she's an incredible hunter, too. We've had her for seven years, since she was 5 weeks old.

I love Australian Shepherds. I have a pure bred red merle girl and a blue merle Aussie/Rottie Mix. They are wonderful dogs.

I also absolutely love English Bull Terriers and Rottweilers, the 2 breeds I was raised around. My Mother bred Bullies and my Father bred Rotties. Both wonderfully loyal and friendly breeds when raised in loving homes.

My favourite breed is, always has been, and always will be the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
I love absolutley everything about them. They're personality, appearance, size...etc. I love how outgoing and active they are. They all seem to have a great zest for life. They're just perfect for me.

I agree, the dogs are real cute that you showed. I especially like the picture of the Jack Russel Terrier, all your dogs are real cute. You like German Shephards too though, and that's not a small dog. But that's ok, cuz German Shephards are cool.

My favorite breed is the Shetland Sheep dog. I love them because of their intelligence, their loyalty and their spunkieness! Two year old Magic is my third Sheltie and all of them have been wonderful house pets. She is my first rescue (I recommend rescuing rather than purchasing to everyone I talk to)

Both Great Danes and Shetland Sheep Dogs are great dogs. I love the Great Danes build, and how big and handsome/beautiful they are. I'm sure they make wonderful pets!! As for Shetland Sheep Dogs I'm sure they make great companions to cuddle up with and I like their fluffy, soft coats. I actually know 3 of them- 2 live on my street and one my dog is very good friends with.

It's amazing how much of a variety we're getting with dog breeds- don't be shy and keep posting even if you like a dog that's already been mentioned. Great job everyone! I'll be waiting next time to see if anyone posted.:)

No,they're not Pitbulls.They are somewhat related but almost a totally different dog.Theyre not very popular.They arent banned in North America.But some cities ban them for some reason b/c they look like a pitbull?:confused: they look nothing like a pitbull to me.They are included in some pitbull bans b/c they have characteristics of a pitbull,but ive never heard of them being aggressive or attack anyone.

I love springers because they are easy to train and are great companions. They will put their life ahead of theirs even if your a crummy owner! Jesse and I have run across a huge german shepherd mix (it was HUGE!) and she tried to keep it a way, and her leg had been amputated just a week before!

What's not to love about 'em? ;) For me, they are everything I could ever possibly want in a dog and much, much more. They're highly intelligent, gorgeous, loyal dogs. I could go on and on, but I'll stop there. I'll never be without one (or two.. or three.. you get my point). ;)

Nope, no Dalmatian, best guess is Australian cattle dog/heeler Pit Bull mix. You really need to spend time in person with him to see the pittie part, so stocky, so loving, so crazy!

Wow! Your dogs are really sweet and cute, and especially your puppy is adorable. Good luck- I hope you get him soon! I think your husky is very handsome, and your rottie and german shephard are very adorable too. That's I think the first time I've seen a long haired german shephard -very cool! This I think is a stereotype- sorry about that, but rottweilers are known to be aggresive- is yours? Personally, I think he looks very nice and calm and settled. Cute pics!

I love springers because they are easy to train and are great companions. They will put their life ahead of theirs even if your a crummy owner! Jesse and I have run across a huge german shepherd mix (it was HUGE!) and she tried to keep it a way, and her leg had been amputated just a week before!

Very neat! Your english springer spaniel is very cute. Your one picture of him I don't think showed up, I got a little red x instead- but I think I saw him in your siggy ( hansome fella), and your website one showed up. Of course I agree with you and that picture you posted is the sweetest thing- is that one of your goldens? Plus, you can tell from your username that you're a big Golden fan- your username is actually almost the same as mine! :) Your Golden is very cute too- and like you said what's not to love? :D

Thanks people for posting, a week ago I thought it was the end of the thread but I'm so happy, :D, :D that it was continued. Goldy Lover, my corso is a male and he's growin up sooo faaast..my rotty is very social and loves everyone he comes across a bit protective when needed but overall he's just a big baby

My two favorite breeds are the bichon frise---their fluffy heads and lively eyes....they're awesome :) I do bichon rescue w/ Small Paws... and Irish Wolfies..... I love love love the wolfies, such incredible dogs!!

I'm also partial the "mutts" of this world, in particular....my Rascal, who is a shih-tzu/poodle boy, and my Sissy, who is a bichon/poodle girl... Lucky is our wolfie mix....

I love malamutes because they are very pack oreintated,it makes them really close their family.They are extremely friendly with children from babies to big kids.The old inuit called the Mahlemuts used to let the dogs watch over the babies and children,like furry babysitters.Rocco is very close to me which is rare in malamute society,they are noted as "not a one man dog" because they are so friendly but mine is.Their howling is almost hypnotic.Who knows, maybe it's just my dog,not his breed.:)

german shorthaired pointer- they are loyal dogs, and excellent hunt, point and retrieve dogs wen trained properly and cant forget to mention a great companion, as are all dogs. my siggy is of my 13 wk old gsp! :)
