I've been looking at older pictures of Remus and it seems as if his whiskers have grown a little bit, or at leas have changed shape...

Am I crazy?

When I first got him

Notice the increased curve in his whiskers lol. Sigh its hard to believe Ive had him since July, thats four months now! He sure has grown a lot though in such a short time!

They say that a cat's whiskers are supposed to be as wide as the cat is wide, they are supposed to help guide them and when they are out hunting, etc it lets them know holes and crevices they should be able to fit through. So technically, a really fat cat should have really long whiskers. I notice that my big Allen boy has l-o-n-g whishers, and the little Pouncer has been developing some loger ones lately too.

I don't understand why they curve like that though, kind of like a fu-man-chu thing going on lol

LOL :D You should see Max's whiskers. They start on his chin and curl up so they almost poke him in the eye. Then again, he's a Persian and all his whiskers are curled up.

Nosekissies to you Remus.

I'm sorry to change the subject, but I just noticed Remus's little white toesies. They are so adorable. That is the first time I have seen a cat with just white toes. Well, that I can recall anyway.
(It's the age thing you know.) ;)

Remus DOES have super long and curved whiskers!! I know about the whisker/size thing but it doesn't realy seem to make sense in lots of cases. I mean - take Dylan. He is....uh...er....FLUFFY and geting fluffier all the time. But I don't see his whiskres expanding with his plushness. Then I am thinking about Pete (CCL) He has the longest whiskers I have ever seen and yet he is a rather sleek cat!
Something to ponder:rolleyes:
or we can wait for RICHARD;) he is a great ponderer.

You,are not mistaken,as Cats Whiskers,do grow,as the Cat,needs them to navigate,and feel thier way,around!
