Duke's Blessing Video/Dog Park Pics

There was a pet blessing Saturday at the dog park near where Kay lives. She and I took Duke and Kiara. I've always wanted to take Duke but our local newspaper always had it in the paper after it had already occured. I thought it was pretty special. Here's the video. We got a kick out of Duke at the very end when he was sprinkled with the holy water. I didn't get it on tape but the Father said "They've all got a little devil in them." Thought that was hilarious. We did a ton of Halloween pics last night but I'm going to wait until closer to Halloween to post them. Plus, got to work tomorrow and I started uploading all this too late. So, I'm putting one pic here. I'm going to make a signature out of it after a while but Kay made me a really cool one so I'll be using it for a while first. For the pic, it's going to say: Even devils get tired.

They gave out a certificate to each animal, also. I'm using the attachment thing for it so I won't have to resize it. On with the pics. Here's an adorable dog that was also at the pet blessing.

awwwww, that is so AWESOME!!! I've never heard of a blessing for doggies. I wish they had ones here, I would definitely take my doggies.

How precious Val:) Guess Duke could have done without the "dunking" though:D We have an annual Blessing of the Animals here too. It's so sweet to see all the creatures waiting for to be blessed:) Love your new siggy, Duke, you devil you:D

How sweet, Valerie and Duke. I'm so glad you had the opportunity to participate in the dog blessings. Duke's certificate is really special, too.

Tell Duke he should be glad it wasn't a Baptist blessing, he would have to have been submerged! LOL

:) All those pictures are precious Val & Kay. Vids were great, Simba is such a handsome boy and what strong arms to dig such holes :pl. Poor Duke didn't like that last little bit did he?:D

Sorry I'm a bit late in seeing these, I just started working on a new account with my work and I've been swamped! Anyway, I had to watch that video a few times, that was too precious. Duke looks like he's enjoying his attention and then he gives that man a look of disbelief at how rude he was to sprinkle water on him LOL. The pictures were wonderful too, love the pic Kay attached of those three, what a wonderful shot!
