Who do you support, and will you be voting?
I dont want to know why or to turn this in to a political debate or anything, just simply put Bush or Kerry, or if you dont support either one.
KERRY, and yes I will be voting!

She probably put it here for the express reason that it wasn't meant to be a debate but a mere question. Politics is something I try never to get involved in debates with, people all feel and see things differently :) Hopefully no one will make a comment that turns it into a controversy ;)
We are voting Kerry

Kerry, but since I'm not registered to vote here, I won't be voting this year.

So do I, but I have seen things go "sour" here before. :( If we all just answer the question we will do just fine. :)

I don't know about anyone else, but I can't wait until the darn elections are over. I'm so sick of this stuff! I just want it to hurry up and be over with. I'm tired of the fighting.
It would have been interesting to do a poll on this thread, that way people could stay anonymous if they wanted.

Too bad there wasn't a poll made on this!
It would usually go towards libertarian in this household but since we REALLY want Bush out of office.....we will have to lean towards Kerry (although I don't care for the fact of him being wishy-washy).
Not that I think any of them STICK TO THEIR WORDS anyways. But my husband always told me: "YOU CAN'T COMPLAIN IF YOU DON'T VOTE!" ...........
Can I just simply ask why vote for Bush?
I'm definitely not trying to start a fight or anything like that. I really don't keep up with the news or even know much about either candidate, except for what others have told me! All I've really heard about Bush is that he's more for the RICH & doesn't care about us middle-class people.
As far as RIGHTS go.....it does seem that many, many of them are being taken away & that REALLY scares me in the years to come! I'm only 29 & often wonder what is going to happen to this country?! I also think about having children & bringing them up in this world. I really want to have a child but things are so scary & probably will never STOP being scary will they? No perfect world here. I've also heard things about a draft? No way would I want my husband to be FORCED into going & for what reasons?!
I'm just simply stating my opinions & thank god....for now, we still have the right to those!!!

Tina, I'm not the childbearing kind so my opinion probably isn't worth anything ;) but every generation of kids had a set of challenges it had to face. Last century's faced the Great Depression, two World Wars, the Vietnam War, and many other pressures. I reckon if you want kids, go and do it :) - you'll cope, they'll cope!
We have an election this weekend and I can't wait :D

I'm not trying to stir up any trouble, I just want to say that in my opinion many of our civil liberties and rights depend on Kerry being elected. If you really want to talk about it, PM me and I'll start a thread in the Dog house, but I really just wanted to toss my opinion out there... :) :) :)
