Chances your story made me happy and sad at the same time. It certainly looks like you knew what you were doing when you followed your 'soon to be sibling' all over the place. You must have known he would lead you to a home full of love.

I am really  to hear that your human's neighbor set a trap for you and you were injured! :( I hope you stay close to home now Chances!

Congratulations to a gorgeous boy. You are truly stunning and very worthy of the title of Cat of the Day! ;)

Congratulations Chances on being COTD. It sounds like you've have several lucky chances in your life so far. I'm sorry your neighbor doesn't appreciate your catti-ness. Please ask your mom to consider having you microchipped. The pound will scan you and call your mom if you ever end up there again. pssst! Stay away from those cages!

This handsome little guy must be extra happy to have a good home. Especially when that Canadian winter comes around. Hope he has a long happy time. If the neighbor is interested in moving to warmer weather, I'll let her know when a house nearby comes open.

hmmm.... Just must comment on something in your story.

I love cats, and have a darling of my own. Who stays entirely in the house, or, rarely, in the fenced garden under supervision. Like many other residents, I abhore having other people's cats coming into my yard. They spread diseases, dig up plants, kill my baby turtles, mess with the fish in the pond, pee stinky urine, and basicly intrude on MY space. I, myself, have threatened to set a trap to catch the two who frequent my yard. And then the neighbors two doors down can find their beloved kitty at the pount, just like your Chances. If they love their cat so much, why let it run loose? And if they respect their neighbors, why let it mess all over my yard? Sorry to hit on this negative point, but I just think pet owners must be responsible both to their animals and to their neighbors.

Other than that, yours is a beautiful kitty. And I am entirely curious about that rock with the hole in it in the background. Is it a hollow rock with a hiding place for the cat, or a hole completely through it, for decoration?

How adorable you are!
How smart too, to make friends with your new sibling before moving in! That way you all ready had a friend to play with. Please stay fare away from the neighbor who doesn't like cats.
Congratulations, sweetie, on being our special Cat of the Day today!:D

Mew, you are very handsome in your grey fur. What a spiffy colour. Makes your eyes look like oval emeralds.

Love your story, following one the two cats home so you could adopt your furever purrents. Surely someone lost you; mew, everyone would be delighted with such a charming boy.

The neighbour who hates cats, these defective humans can not stand to see perfection, however:

My dear fellow Canadian cat, the most charming Changes, I must inform you that no cat is safe outside. There are very wicked people [neighbours, strangers] who harm pussycats. They set traps, they physically harm cats, put out poisons ... all kinds of horrible things. You must tell your purrents that you and the other two cats should become indoor cats. That is the only way a cat is safe. Your humans would never forgive themselves if you were harmed by a sicko.

The story of Kensington, The Cat should convince people that cats need to be indoor pets. WARNING: This is a very upsetting story.

Chances, our charmer, what a delightful Cat of the Day you are! Live long, healthy, happy, and always loved and treasured. Lots of kittykisses from me and my purrents, KatMa & Paw-Paw send you oodles of hugs & kisses.

Hello, beautiful Chances! How clever to follow your soon-to-be sibling until your new family took you in. Please, Chances, stay away from that horrid woman. You would be much safer as an indoors kitty. Only one of my kitties goes outside, and she is leashed so she cannot wander far. I would hate for anything bad to happen to such a good cat as you, Chances. Much happiness and good health to you, dear Chances, our COTD!

I'm also curious about the rock with the hole through it. I'd love one like it for my garden!
