I think Birdie's tongue is starting to regain some function!!!!! YAYYYY!! :) :) :) I was brushing him earlier, and snuggling with him, and I saw that little pink tongue pop out for a moment as he was trying to bite the brush! Later I went to give him some more loving, and he was all soggy from hopefully bathing himself! He's still half naked, but the fuzz is growing back in most places, and it's nice and clean looking. GO BIRDIE!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :p ;)

A slumped over ear is nooooo problem. And, as a matter of fact, I find it sort of endearing. Look at Kimlovescats siggy pic and find Dexter. Notice his ear? I LOVE Dexter and his adorable floppy ear!

Go Birdie! If your tongue works you don't need to be a "dirty bird" anymore.

This is great news! We're praying that he gets better and better. :D
Did you find a way to keep him from plucking his fur out? I think you were going to use a sock. Did it work or is he still a nudist?

He's got baby bird down coming in where he was shaved at the vets, and where he did so much plucking. I haven't bottle fed him his sticky KMR/mixed with Iams canned kitten food & vitamins in a while now, so he's not as sticky anymore! No need to pluck any of those sticky feathers out LOL! :D He's getting down right fat lately...and his little chest looks like a chicken breast! He is such a loving little guy with me anyway. We have lots of snuggles during the day. I can't resist him! ;) :) :D

That's I guess what a few drinks out with friends does huh? LOL Carla...Mike actually wants this Birdie boy huh? He's scared when Leslie comes by (which is infrequent) so he's not as social as he should be! He seems to really like Iams kitten chow. I think he's finally getting sick of the Whiskas Bits-o-Beef. He's starting to look picture purrfect, so I hope to have time this weekend to take a few pics. Bad news with my little Peanut dog, so I'm nursing her through a horrible incident. And cat sitting all weekend. In time I'll get Birdie pics.
