Well, lets just say its going to take more patience and a lot less noise. :( I think they're doing some type of construction or its trash day. He lasted about 5 minutes on the chair, 2 hiding behind my back and then ran for the hidey hole. I had to pull him out and the entire 10-12 minute "outside time" he was shaking. :(

Poor thing.

I think I'll try it with Livvy inside the house while he's out there. And, I'll shut the blinds. The cats are all lined up staring at him, while he looks at them, wide-eyed. He's terrified of other cats it seems. :(

I'll make another update tomorrow with the above changes.

awww...poor Jonah - just will take time not to be so fearful. Maybe time alone with you first will help him gain confidence:)

Awww poor Jonah is right. I hope in time his fears will subside and he realizes what a loving home he has.

Prayers on the way that it will all work out in the end.

Poor baby! I am sure he will settle down with a bit more time!

I think that time will really help him. At first he was so terrified in his crate for about 3-4 days. Maybe it'll just take longer than I expected.

He's worth it. :)

Definitely!!! Keep it up, he'll give in eventually! Poor baby, I wish he'd realize that there's nothing to be scared of. But he will and he will be so happy once he's used to things!

Some Cats,depending,on thier experiences,with Other Cats,take longer,to amke Friends,than others,and we hope That Jonah,makes Friends SOON. Although Princess,has been here 13 Years,and still,is nervous,around the Other Found Cats!

Oh Kelly, try not to get discouraged ... he just has to get used to all the sights, sounds, and smells! ;) I think what you are doing is wonderful, and bound to pay-off for all of you in the end!

Hugs,
Kim;)
