I normally feed my doggies the hard crunchy dog food but was wondering if I should/need/can to incorporate the canned ones. I know that they loved the canned stuff a lot when I fed it to them when they were puppies just to get them to eat. It was stinky, too.

What do you guys do??? And what about those little packets of food too? I think they are so cute.

Thanks

For me, I feed a good quality kibble and either add
some human food or a little bit of can food for taste.
(kibble is better for their teeth.) :)

I had a poodle mix senior dog that had very few teeth.
In her case she had to eat soft food.

I always give my dogs dry food, it seems to agree with them more than the canned stuff.
I did give Waffles canned right after I got her spayed though just to make it easier on her!

Like KYS said, dry food is good for their teeth (keeps them clean)

Both of my pups are underweight, so I have to make sure they want to eat. So I just add a few heaping spoons into their dry food, smoosh it all up, and they eat it!

My Kodie gets dry and canned food

1 can,about roughly 3 cups of dry,once a day

he loves it,but he wont eat just dry unless he is really hungry.
