4 adoptions today and 3 were mine!!!!

1st.........Timothy, an adult who lost his elderly owner (death) :( He is a "beat up" kind of old man with a bad eye and allergies causing him to have bad skin. But his loveable nature won his new mom's heart.

2nd........a kitten named Tioga. He was here with me for the last 3 days. He just needed a place to "crash" until his real foster mom could take over, but he wiggled his little way into a new family.

3rd.........PANDORA! Yes, our little Pandora will be going to her new home soon. She is set to be spayed tomorrow. After 10 days she will have the stitches removed. And then she will be readly for her new home. She will go on Oct.3rd at our next adoption event.

4th.........MEESHA. My adult calico foster. :D:D She will have the home meant especially for her. No other cats, she will be QUEEN!

What a sweet day.

I also brought 2 newbies back with me. hee hee. watch for their intro.

PROUD Foster Mommie! And you have every right to be.....that's what it is all about. It has to be so rewarding to send them off to their new homes and a happy life.

That's wonderful news Jen! It is especially heart-warming when ADULT cats get placed - too often they get overlooked when there are cute kittens around. Great job!!!!

I should add this little story (was too hurried yesterday).

Tioga (the kitten who was here for 3 days) is a shy, timid little guy. The lady who fell in love with him went home for one of her daughters so she could meet him. The daughter fell in love with another, much more friendly little kitten, but the mom kept telling her how this little shy guy REALLY needs us. How he might be overlooked because he is timid and the friendly one would more easily find a home. The daughter wasn't convinced at first until she sat down and help Tioga. He won her over! :) And we all know that with time and love he WILL be a wonderful part of their family.
