Gosh can't people be funny sometimes, I would consider it an honour to have a furbaby named after me,infact the next female furbaby I get will be called Kalohla which is Hawaiian for Carole, cute eh?
Oreo sounds a lovely name, just go with whatever you love best, how about Oreo Ray, he does not have to know that is his second name he he.:) :D
I like the name oreo.
I named Rocky after my Uncle.
I guess some people don't take it as
a compliment. :(

I asked my hubby if he thought Michael Jackson would be good,, you know,,, black,, white?? :D :D :D
ZERO offense is intended to anyone,, I just couldnt let that joke go by unsaid!!!!!

lol on the MJ joke!!
I like Oreo--very cute!!
As far as being offended, my cousin and her husband had a dog and they named her Lutska (she has since been rehomed, but that is another story:mad: )--anyway, her husband has a cousin in Slovakia named Lutska, and they liked the name. It actually is "Lucy" in English they said. But they never told that side of the family that the dogs name was Lutska, just called her Lucy if they were there--talk about confusing:)

Keegan's Middle name is Grace after my grandma (who passed away in April) and when I told her what I named Keegan she cried! She was touched - not offended, but people are funny.
What about Kodi or Kobi?
I know of 2 people who named their dogs Kobi.
Someone who adopted one of my bottle baby puppies I was fostering named her after me. I was so honored, I couldn't stop hugging them :D :D

We having a good laugh here re: Ray, how about Bandit for the mask on his face. If he is a wee bit naughty it might be appropriate.
Just tell him you are naming the dog after Ray Romano of Everybody Loves Raymond. Hey, other people are named Ray too! :D
My pastor has a yellow lab named Liz, named after his mother-in-law. I can't tell you how many times Liz has been mentioned in a sermon (the dog, not the mother-in-law!) LOL!

IMO... Oreo would be kind of girly for a boy... But that's JUST IMO!
What about Sampson.... Or Lyle....
I have to go look at his picture again and see if any other names come to me!
