Jasmine, the story of your life is very scary- you have been so clever not to move on that street until your meowmie found you:)
Now you are a cute and happy kitty and you very well deserve the title of COTD today.
I hope you celebrate with a long playing and cuddling session with your humans:)

Oh Jasmine, no wonder you were scared stiff out there in the middle of the road. I'm so glad your mommy saw you and were courageous enough to stop the traffic and save you. :)
You're a beautiful girl, and I hope you'll get spoiled and have a long happy life! Today, I think there's a chance for extra treats. ;)
Congratulations on being honoured as Cat of the Day!

Dear Jasmine! Your sweet, gentle expression has captured my heart; such a beautiful girl:) It pains me to think of such a tiny, vulnerable creature in such peril! Thank goodness your mommy arrived on the scene to rescue you; and just in the nick of time too!!! Kudos to her for doing all that it took to assure your safety! And as she says, "the rest is history!":D What a heartwarming and happy rescue tale! Jasmine, me and mine send along heartfelt congratulations on your Cat of the Day honors! The end of her stray-life was so traumatic, imagine how happy this little girl is now. She's so lucky. Congratulations.

Jasmine is one pretty girl, and I'm glad her human's rescue had a happy ending.
But... I'm a little worried, too. About six weeks ago, we had a terrible accident on one of the freeways, involving a family in a mini-van who had stopped to rescue a dog at the side of the road. The van (which was not completely off the road) was rear-ended by a pickup truck. One of the children inside died, and another was seriously injured.
Our own CHP asks that people who see a stray animal on a freeway call 911. (It's a traffic hazard, after all.) They carry control sticks and other equipment for catching animals safely.
From the account, it sounds as if Jasmine was rescued from a city street or secondary road. Just remember: YOUR life is important, too!

Look guys! It's your cousin Jasmine on COTD! She's a smart girlie who LOVES to play with tiny furry mice! You found a great home, girl, even though there are big woofers to contend with! You'll win every time!
Love from Aunt Pat, Bob, Tippi, Sindi, and Jennie :)

Jasmine, what on earth were you doing in the middle of the road?!! Thank heavens your mom saw you just in time to rescue you. You are such a beautiful kitty, Jasmine. I love your stripes and the orange mark on your forehead. You have a wonderful life now with a family who loves you.
